On sythetic fuels
Via Tim Worstall, this story caught my eye:
Porsche’s synthetic gasoline factory comes online today in Chile
I Am reminded of a line from a Larry Niven story, something along the lines of 'the chemistry was complicated, but any reaction can be reversed with sufficient energy'. Using nukes, solar, geothermal, and hydroelectric to synthesize fuel makes more sense than replacing all our global infrastructure and devleoping follies like electric planes.
Faster, please!
